Is parking difficult?
There are two visitor-parking places in the lot in front of the building. Feel free to use one of these spaces if it is open upon arrival. Otherwise, there is street parking available.
What are your office hours?
My office hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I offer daytime and evening appointments.
What can I expect in the first session?
In the first session, we will go over paperwork. Please arrive 10 minutes early to this appointment so the paperwork doesn’t take up your session time. We will discuss the reasons you are coming to therapy and explore your goals. In this session, we will explore how working together feels to you and if this feels like it will be good for you.
What is the hourly fee?
My rates for therapy are $225 per 50-minute initial diagnostic intake (initial visit) for individuals, couples, and families.
Follow-up sessions are $165 for individuals, $175 for couples, and $225 for family sessions and per 50-minute follow-up session.

Do you accept insurance? If not, why?
I accept insurance for therapy. I accept PacificSource and Aetna. I provide receipts for out of network.

Do you have a cancellation policy?
Once your appointment is scheduled, it is reserved for you. Therefore, I request that you notify me a minimum of 48 hours in advance for a cancellation. Appointments that are not cancelled in advance will require payment of the full cost of the session.
Do you work with people from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, and religions?
My practice is full of people from diverse racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. I work with interracial couples, LGBTQIQ individuals/couples, and a multiplicity of relationship structures. I have a background in cultural anthropology, which helps me to understand each person as coming from a unique culture.
